Alpha Joseph "A.J." Hebert
(December 9, 1921 - December 31, 2010)

 

U.S. Veteran

Funeral services for Mr. A.J. Hebert, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Pineville with Reverend Bruce Miller officiating. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Ball, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville.

Mr. Hebert, age 89, of Pineville, entered eternal rest on Friday, December 31, 2010 at Rapides Regional Medical Center, Alexandria, Louisiana

He was a native of Kaplan, Louisiana. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving in WWII. He was a retired Electrician with Texas Gas Company. He was a member of Holy Name Society and Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He was a member of the D.A.V.

He is preceded in death by one son, Rudy Hebert.

He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Orena Dartez Hebert of Pineville; two sons, Dan Hebert, Sr. (Sally) of Deville and Donald Hebert, Sr. (Debra) of Pineville; three sisters, Nelia Harpin of Houston, Texas, Loynee Guidry of Port Neches, Texas and Merlene Guidry of Haughton, Louisiana; seven grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren.

Friends may call at Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, on Monday, January 3, 2011, from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m.

A Vigil Service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, January 3, 2010 in the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville.
