Myrna dropped out of NHS early but thought some would remember her and be interested in her obituary.

Funeral service for Myrna Cain Maggio will be held 1 PM Wednesday, February 2, 2011 in the Minor Basilica of Immaculate Conception with Rev. Stephen Scott Chemino and Rev. James Foster officiating. Entombment will follow in the Catholic Mausoleum in Natchitoches, La. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 1, 2011 from 5 PM till 9 PM with a rosary service at 7 PM and visitation on Wednesday, February 2, 2011 from 8 AM till 12 noon in the funeral home. Mrs. Maggio, 70, of Natchitoches, La., died Sunday, January 30, 2011, in her residence after a brief illness, at Natchitoches, La. She was a native of Natchitoches, La. Mrs. Maggio was retired from Wise Clinic for Children as a receptionist. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She was a special friend to all who were blessed to know her. She enjoyed writing poetry and spending time with her family. She was a spiritual person who never met a stranger. She was preceded in death by her father, Demarcus Benton Cain; mother and step-father, Myrtle Leo Rambin and Glen Rambin. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Charles E. Maggio of Natchitoches, La.; four daughters, Michele Todtenbier and husband Ren and Monica Smith all of Natchitoches, La.; Marla Prince and husband Julian of Wilmington, N.C.; and Aimee Fontenot and husband Greg of Cheneyville, La.; grandchildren, Ryan Todtenbier and wife Erika and Joshua Smith; step-grandchildren, Cole Martin, Kyle Stringer, Brittin Fontenot and Gregory Fontenot; one sister, Toni Winkler and husband Ronnie of Bossier City, La.; one brother, Mark Cain and wife Lora of Zwolle, La.; sister-in-law, Lou Cain; grand-puppy's, Sammy, Tibet, Tonka, and Kyla; She leaves to cherish special friends, Joe Ann Box, Frances Attaway, and Hazel Holloway. Pallbearers will be Conway Aday, Garry Bass, Gary Coleman, Tommy Coleman, Billy Maggio, and Roy Ussary. Honorary pallbearers will be her sons-in-law and grandsons. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Doctor's Javier and Ana Pere', Hospice of Natchitoches, and a special family friend Leslie McAlpin.
