Funeral service for Maynard R. Youngblood will be held 11 AM Saturday, May 29, 2010 in Blanchard St. Denis Chapel with Rev. Ron Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Marthaville Cemetery at Marthaville, La. Visitation will be Friday, May 28, 2010 from 5 PM until 8 PM and on Saturday May 29, 2010 from 8 AM until service time in the funeral home. Mr. Youngblood, 83, of Natchitoches, La., died Thursday, May 27, 2010, at Natchitoches Nursing and Rehabilitation in Natchitoches, La. He was a native of Powhatan, La. and a former resident of Marthaville, La. He was a retired roustabout with an oil and gas drilling company. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Natchitoches, La. and a former member of Marthaville, First Baptist Church in Marthaville, La. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Reese Youngblood and Eunice Eva Box Youngblood; sister, Janice Ruth Youngblood; brother, Dalton Youngblood. He is survived by one sister, Gaynel Russo of Shreveport, La.; three brothers, Louis M. Youngblood of Marthaville, La., Don Youngblood of Los Angeles, Ca., and Leighman Youngblood of Colorado
