Mrs. Harkins, 90 years of age, passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2010. She was born June 11, 1919 in Ida, LA to the late Robert and Virgie (Goodman) Holman. She was a long time member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Martin and her husband James of Natchitoches; son, Steve Harkins and his wife Karen of Natchitoches; brother, Vance Holman and his wife Carol of Lincoln, NE; sister, Bobbye O’Quinn and her husband Richard of Liberty, TX; sister in law, Catherine Holman of Raceland, LA; grandchildren, Jim martin and his wife Amy of Jackson, MS, Markalyn Williams and her husband Rickie of Natchitoches, Erika Harkins of Shreveport and Cole Harkins and his wife Amy of Natchitoches; great grandsons, Nicholas Gallien of Copperas Cove, TX, Tyler Martin and Ben Martin both of Jackson, MS; four great-great grandsons; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Morgan S. Harkins, Sr.; her parents; brothers, Ralph Holman and Russell Holman; sister, Paula Otto.
