A service to honor the life of Bobby W. Manders will be 3 pm Wednesday, August 21, 2013 in the chapel of Blanchard St. Denis with Bro. Rickey Robertson officiating. Interment will follow at Kisatchie Cemetery in Kisatchie, LA. The family will receive friends from 5 pm until 8 pm on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home.

Bobby W. Manders, 71 years of age and resided in Many, LA, passed away August 20, 2013 at his residence.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents (grandparents), Mr. & Mrs. L.D. Horn and his biological mother, Gladys Nadine Odom; sisters, Christine Crittenden, Myrtle Lee Garsee; and brothers, L.V. Horn, Truly Horn, Roy Lee Horn, Robert Frank Odom and Michael Odom.

 

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Dolores Manders of Many; children, Dena Armstrong and her husband Ricky, Pride Manders and his wife Lori, Shawn Manders and his wife Kim all of Holland, MI, Donald Boudreaux and his wife Dana of Hornbeck, Denise Barber and her husband Greg of Many, Donna Tedder and her husband Bruce of Marthaville; sisters Levell Cheatwood, Blanche Shirey and her husband Roy of Natchitoches; brothers, Willie Horn of Bossier City, Henry (Jack) Horn and his wife Audrey of Many, Roger Dale Odom and his wife Hehlee, Tommy Odom and wife Connie of Oakdale. He was blessed with 14 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and a host of friends.
