Edward L. Desadier

 

Funeral services for Edward L. Desadier will be held Saturday, November 16, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden, Louisiana. Officiating will be Rev. Scott Laliberte. Interment will follow at Point Chapel Cemetery in Doyline, Louisiana. The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 p.m. Friday, November 15, 2013 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden.

 

Edward was born February 6, 1940 in Clarence, Louisiana and entered into rest November 13, 2013 in Shreveport, Louisiana. He was a retired heavy equipment operator with Madden Construction Company. Edward enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing with his animals, eating candy and splitting firewood. He loved playing with all his grandkids, nieces, and nephews as well as all of his friend’s children.

 

His parents John and Elenora Desadier, sister Patsy McGee, Johnnie Biles, and Elaine Tomlinson preceded him in death.

 

He is survived by his wife Irene Desadier of Minden, son Richard Leon Desadier of Minden, daughter Angie Meek and husband Greg of Minden, grandsons Jareth Desadier, Marshall Meek, Justin Desadier, and Luke Meek, granddaughters Courtney Meek, Kayla Meek, and Rachel Desadier, brother Fred Desadier, extended children Tracy Hammontree and husband Adrian of Minden, Paul Davis and wife Jennifer of Minden, Kim Winters and husband Bryan of Dubberly, and Bobby Morgan of Minden.

 

Pallbearers will be Paul Davis, Bobby Morgan, Adrian Hammontree, Gerald Martin, Eldon Thurman, David Austin, Dewey Morgan, and Bert Chanler.
