Susie Yvonne Thomason Brown, 70 of Nashville, Ark., went to Heaven on Monday, April 9, 2012 at her home in Nashville with her loving family by her side. Susie was born Aug. 18, 1941 in Natchitoches, La., to the late Milton Willie and Mildred Clovis Stephens Thomason. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church in Nashville. She was a dedicated member of the Church Choir; she also played a part in the ladies’ drama ministry. Susie was a member of the P. E. O. Chapter AM. And also a member of the Coed III Sunday School Class. She was truly a dedicated Christian Lady. Susie loved working in her flowers, and she was an Artist in more ways than one.

 
Survivors include: Her husband and best friend for over 15 years, Brad Brown of Nashville; her step-children, Donnie Waldron of Shreveport, La., Howard Waldon of Keithville, La., Jan Waldron Wierick of North Vernon, Ind., Brad Brown, Jr. of Avelock, NC; a brother, B.E. Thomason of Pennington, Texas; three sisters, Elaine Thomason Allen of Natchitoches, La., Tot Cargile of Nashville, and Sherry DuBois of Colfax, La.; Also, nine step grandchildren, numerous step-great grandchildren; eight nieces and nephews, Stephanie Campbell, Pam Harding, Connie Echols, Kelli Davis, Jamie Ekenseiar, Leisa DeCoster, Michael Thomason and Chelsey Collins. And a large host of other family and friends.
 
Services were Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Nashville with Bro. David Blase officiating. Interment followed in Restland Memorial Park.
