Funeral services for Henrietta Ann Dalme will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Blanchard - St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA with Rev. Perry Webb and Rev. Thomas Rush officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Lawn Cemetery in Natchitoches, LA. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on April 13, 2012 at Blanchard - St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA.

Henrietta Dalme, 86 years of age, passed away April 8, 2012. She was born September 25, 1925 to the late Lawrence Dalme, Sr. and Lillie Futrell Dalme in Natchitoches, LA. Henrietta attended and graduated from Natchitoches High School in 1944, and afterwards attended Northwestern State University. She was employed at Natchitoches Parish Library for over 30 years. She drove the Book Mobile for many years, and came to know "just about everyone" in Natchitoches Parish. She was devoted to her family and friends, and was a caregiver to many family members throughout the years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Natchitoches, where she attended when she was able. She enjoyed taking care of her yard, traveling, and visiting with her friends and relatives.

She is survived by her brother Ted Dalme and wife Louise of Crosby, TX and Joe Pat Dalme of California; one sister-in-law Linda Dalme; her aunt Kathleen Kennedy of Arizona; one niece, Laura Jeffcoat of Natchitoches; four nephews, James Dalme, Leslie Dalme, Gary Dalme, and Joey Dalme, all of Texas; and numerous cousins, who loved her very much.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence Dalme, Sr. and Lillie Mae Futrell Dalme; her maternal grandmother, Josephine Futrell; her brother, Lawrence Dalme, Jr.; and her nephew, Kenny Dalme.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Winston Cedars, Leslie Dalme, Gary Dalme, Jr., James H. Dalme, James Reed Stacy, and John Laborde. Honorary pallbearers will be John Millar, Harvey Allen, Douglas Lee, Billy Scroggins, Buddy Maggio, Harvey Futrell, Roy Cedars, Gary Jeffcoat, John Gongre, and Dain Wirt.
