Mrs. Irma Bullock Posted Monday, March 22, 2010 04:29 PM I only had one class under Mrs. Bullock...American History!! Now, you have to know that I do not like history! I didn't like it then, and I don't like it now...SO... I took American History the summer before my senior year for two reasons. First, it was a requirement and I wanted to get it behind me as quickly as possible. Second, I wanted to take as many business courses as I could, and they were electives, so I had to get American History out of my way. There was a quiet, easy spirit about Mrs. Bullock. You could tell by the way she taught that she loved history. She had a way of teaching that made history interesting and enjoyable, which is the reason why I listened and learned, and yes, made an A in the class!! Now, that's saying something from an ole gal who didn't like history. I found myself wishing that I had a full semester under her, instead of just the summer months. A teacher who can make a class enjoyable and make you want to learn is a "Teacher", and Mrs. Bullock was that to me! |
