Hello from Elwanda Miller McCabe and Charles, I thought and thought on how to say what a wonderful reunion we had. "In everything we are to give thanks" so I am giving thanks first to God for allowing us to be healthy and have lived long enough to get together after 50 years and 54 years for me.

Second I want to thank you for inviting me to come even if I only went to school with you all for 8 years. Thanks to all of you for giving of your time to prepare and get everything together for the reunion. I don't know how it could of been any better.

Third I want to say a big thanks for all my classmates for coming and sharing the wonderful stories and memories. Seeing and visiting with each one of you was so exciting. Now I know why I kept your pictures and autographs all these years. It was a happening that I never dreamed I could or would be a part of. God is so good and works in unexpecting ways.l

May the Lord watch over us while we are absent from one another until we meet again either here on earth or in heaven. Hopefully in 5 years.

My uncle lived by the Doodle dump. I played on it almost every week. It did seem real high. I really don't know why it was called that.

Hi Linda,

Donald Dutile passed away at 4:30 p.m. yesterday in St. Joseph's Hospital, Springfield, Missouri. I've emailed Gordon to send us funeral arrangements but have not yet heard from him. I want to go to Don's service but if I don't hear anything tonight we will be heading to Waco early tomorrow for a previously scheduled engagement.

Don's address is 23277 Hwy 32, Lebanon, MO 65536 should anyone want to send a card to his wife, Betty.

If anyone else hears of those arrangements while we are gone please post them to the website for everyone.

Donald “Gator’’ Dutile, 67, of Lebanon, died Wednesday evening, June 2, 2010, at St. John’s Hospital-Springfield.

He is survived by his wife, Betty, of the home; two sons, James Dutile and his wife, Lisa, of Morrisville, N.C. and Keith Dutile and his wife, Jodi, of Bourbon; three daughters, Jackie Patterson and her husband, Jeremy, of Lebanon; Michele Dutile, of Statesville, N.C.; Tabitha Varady and her husband, Robert, of Lebanon; six grandchildren; a brother, Dr. Gordon Dutile and his wife, Judy, of Bolivar; three sisters, Janet Cheek and her husband, Ralph, Betty Ann, and Jacki Lawson, all of the state of Louisiana, also a number of nieces and nephews.

Arrangements for Donald “Gator’’ Dutile are incomplete at this time and will be announced by Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon.

Anna, I will definitely email my pics to you, after my flop on my web site. Thanks for the offer. It is ones like you, Bill, Polly, Sarah Jo, Glenelle, LeeLee, Sylvia, Karen, Bill Hyams, of course John Harry, and all the others who worked to make the Big 50 so very, very wonderful. I know others have said it but "IT WAS ABSOLUTELY AWESOME, I DON'T KNOW HOW ANYONE COULD HAVE ENJOYED IT MORE THAN ME!!!!!!!" Also, I was so glad MRS. DURR came and she came by herself from Nacoghdoches and left about 8:30 p.m. going to her sister's in Zwolle. I'm not that brave but she said "It is nothing, I love the feel of the road." HATS OFF TO HER FOR GRACING US WITH HER ATTENDANCE, SHE IS A REAL LADY!!.

I wanted to see Nonnie so much and Chester Martin, they're both great and were really missed! They have to promise to be at the NEXT reunion.

Let's keep in touch and "thanks for all the wonderful memories May 27-28, 2010 and they will long be remember.

Well, they are probably just wrapping up at the cemetery for Donald's funeral. Polly & I had intended to be there, had to attend a 50th anniversary party in Gatesville, TX yesterday afternoon and figured we could drive up there last night and today to Lebanon, MO. That said, I got sick, I had to stay in the motel in Texas while Polly went to the party and then we headed straight home, have just arrived about an hour ago.

Sally posted some pictures today...check her "Profile Page".

Since I had a question about the posted pictures and "how to get to them", I'd like to remind everyone that you only need to click on "Reunion Photo Page" then click on the "50 year Reunion" folder....and...then click on the group that you want to see. Click on the individual pictures to enlarge....you can also use the arrows at the bottom of the pictures to advance the frames. Hope this helps.

I have tried to post pictures on the reunion page. It starts to download but never finishes download. I did one at a time but still want download all the way. is it my computer or the site?

Not sure what is causing that problem. How many pictures do you have? You can do as Sally did and try downloading to your "profile page". Or, send them to me and I will play around with them and see if I can solve the problem. Maybe some others out there have some ideas for a fix?

I'm not sure what the glitch is there, if there is one, but after the message comes up telling me the photo has been saved I just got ahead and don't wait for that image thing, can't remember it now, will try later if you're still having problems.

Bill I have tried to post the pictures on the reunion page but as I said they want finish downloading there. The only place that they do finish downloading is on my profile. I think I will just send a cd of my pictures to you or Anna and let you put them on the site. Which one of you have the time to do that?
